Tucked away and connected to a motel, it's not somewhere that would make you think of a date night, but it's where we were told to go. Through local recommendations, we were told Alfredo's was the spot...but after parking and observing from the outside, we had our doubts of what was to come. Family owned and operated, Alfredo’s brings us the Mediterranean through dishes from Lebanon, Morocco, France, Spain, Italy and Greece, all organized by country on the menu. The decor is quirky, with knick knacks throughout, but it works. Our waiter, Anthony, greeted us and provided prompt service, as well as recommendations on where to start. Complimentary warm pita bread with hummus and a caprese salad held us over while we waited for our entrees. Full of flavor, smooth and not oily, the hummus was by far, some of the best I’ve had. After much thought (there were so many delicious items on the menu!), we ordered the meat platter for two, and the NY strip steak plate. The platter was a colorful mix of chicken, steak and lamb kebabs, rice, pasta and salad. It was a rather large portion, and we had enough leftovers for a dinner later that evening. The meat was tender, juicy and rather flavorful, no extra seasonings needed. With high hopes of trying Alfredo's dessert options, we failed and left no room for it. Service was prompt, the food was delicious, and the decor is cozy, with a separate bar area for those who are just stopping in for a drink or a quick bite. I hear they occasionally have belly dancers performing, which would make for a fun dinner before hitting the casino. For someone who likes a little variety and options, Alfredo's hit the spot for me, with something for everyone. We will definitely be coming back here again.
